Up until recently I had no idea I was a fan of Nancy Meyers, film director and set designer of some of my favorite romantic comedies, Something’s Gotta Give, and It’s Complicated and now The Intern to name a few. She is the daughter of an Interior Designer and grandchild of an Antiques collector, go figure.
In her latest film The Intern, like the hundred of thousands of my fellow Pinners, Nancy looked to Pinterest for inspiration for the set designs and the characters wardrobes. The majority of the movie was film in my home town Brooklyn, New York and as such the infamous Brownstones of Brooklyn in addition to Loft spaces served as the primary sets of the movie.
Nancy Meyers designs her movie sets in a way that makes you wish you could live in it. She’s awesome!
